The Story

Striking miners at Warrior Met have been on strike since April 1, 2021. The workers are asking for new contract negotiations with better benefits.  

We chose to offer the families who were still on strike to come to Local 2397 Union Hall and have some Christmas photo's made. We had several families come and have the entire family photographed or just the children. We were overjoyed to do this for these families.

We come from families of miners, so we know how it is when a coal company promises you something and then does not follow through. We hope that this strike is resolved soon and the miners can go back to work.
